Budget Committee

THAT the Agenda be approved as presented.

THAT Councillor Cathy Burghardt-Jesson be permitted to participate in the Committee’s discussions for December 16, 2024.

THAT the Administration budget discussions be received for information.

THAT the Committee recess at 10:49am to return at 11:05am.

THAT the Reserve & Reserve Funds budget presentation be received for information.

THAT the Committee recess at 12:20pm to resume at 12:50pm.

THAT Councillor Burghardt-Jesson be allowed to attend the Closed Session and ask questions.

THAT the next portion of the meeting be closed at 12:52 in order to consider a Human Resources Matter pursuant to subsections 239(b) and (d) of the Municipal Act, 2001 being A personal matter pertaining to identifiable individuals, including municipal employees, and labour relations or employee negotiations.

THAT the Committee rise from closed session at 1:43pm.

THAT staff be asked for a report outlining the line-by-line actuals for revenue, expenses and capital projects.

THAT Department Heads be directed to report back to the Committee regarding potential deductions to departmental budgets and the implications of such reductions.

THAT the meeting adjourn at 1:59pm.
